I'm Jamie — a senior engineer who works with you directly. Every project starts with a free look at how you work today. No pitch, no invoice.
Most people come to me with one of three problems. Tell me which one sounds like you — I'll show you what I'd do about it.
The repetitive admin that eats your week — invoices, follow-ups, data copied between tools — handled by software, so your hours go back to your customers.
A website that actually brings in enquiries and gets picked up by Google and AI assistants — designed, written, hosted, and kept current by one person.
A web app or system built properly around how you work — fast, documented, and yours to keep, with someone technical steering it all the way to launch.
Not sure AI is even worth it for you? Get a free look — I'll tell you what belongs to software, what belongs to a person, and what isn't worth building.
Case studies of real projects — the problem, what I did, and the result.
Three steps from your first message to a working result.
A call, then a one-page look at how you work: what could run itself, what needs a person, what's worth an assistant, and what not to build.
Fixed scope, fixed price, three options to choose between — and the person on the call is the person who builds it.
You own the code, the accounts and the repository — with its own way of working inside it, so your team or any developer can carry on.
No — that's my job. I explain things in plain language, tell you what matters and what doesn't, and never hide behind jargon.
Most work is a fixed price for the scope, with three options so you pick what fits. It starts with a free look, and for larger or messier systems a short paid diagnostic first — credited against the build.
Changes are a normal conversation, not a surprise charge. Everything's built on clean, documented foundations, so later changes stay cheap.
No. The work is yours to keep — the code, the accounts, and the documentation. If we ever part ways, you or another developer can pick it straight up.
Within a day or two — with a few questions or, if it's a fit, a way forward. No hard sell.
I'm Jamie Nisbet, a software engineer and AI consultant based in Portugal. I've spent years building for the web, and I now design AI systems built to run for the long term — documented and built to scale, not demos that break a month later.
I work as a small shop on purpose. You deal with the person writing the code, so decisions are quick and nothing gets lost in translation. For bigger builds I bring in trusted contractors — you keep the responsiveness and gain the capacity. If something's a bad idea, I'll tell you.
